Naoki Sato
Naoki Sato (ä˝č¤ ç´ç´ SatĹ Naoki) is a Japanese composer who has provided the music for several popular anime series including the first five Prettyâ Cure series, X, Eurekaâ Seven, Swordâ ofâ theâ Stranger, and Blood-C. He graduated from the Tokyoâ Collegeâ ofâ Music in 1993. At the 29th Japanâ Academyâ Prize in 2006, he won the Best Music prize for his work on the film â Alwaysâ SanchĹmeâ noâ YĹŤhiâ (Alwaysâ Sunsetâ onâ Thirdâ Street). He also composed music for anime films such as Prettyâ Cureâ Allâ Starsâ DX trilogy, Standâ Byâ Meâ Doraemon. In live-action dramas, he provided music and soundtracks for TV dramas Goodâ Luck!! Waterâ Boys, H2:â Kimiâ toâ Itaâ Hibi and RyĹmaden. He provided the music for the Spaceâ Battleshipâ Yamato film, as well as the Rurouniâ Kenshin and Parasyte live-action film series. For the 38thâ Japanâ Academyâ Prize in 2015, he was nominated in the Best Score category for his work in Theâ Eternalâ Zero.[6] While he did not win the award, The Eternal Zero won several awards including Best Picture, and Stand By Me Doraemon won for Best Animated Film.
