Lessandro S贸crates
Lessandro S贸crates was born in Goi芒nia, Brazil, in 1977. He studied cinema at the University of S茫o Paulo (USP) in S茫o Paulo and at the Institut national de l鈥檌mage et du son (L鈥檌nis) in Montreal. He edited dozens of shorts and features before directing his own films. His approach is based on observation and immersion in time. His documentaries, made between Brazil and Canada, where he has lived since 2010, invite the audience to contemplate the world differently, beyond appearances. "On the Other Side" is his first solo feature.
