Olallo Rubio聽Maauad is a Mexican filmmaker and broadcaster. He is known for his documentaries (So, What's Your Price?,聽Gimme the Power, and聽Ilusi贸n Nacional) and the feature film聽This Is Not a Movie. Rubio's career began in radio at聽XHDL-FM.聽His first film,聽So, What's Your Price?, a聽documentary film聽critical of consumerism, premiered at the 2007聽Guadalajara International Film Festival.聽His next film,聽This Is Not a Movie, stars聽Edward Furlong聽as a man who grapples with existential questions during the end of the world. It premiered at the聽Morelia International Film Festival聽in 2010 and had a budget of $3 million.聽Gimme the Power, released just before the聽2012 Mexican general election,聽is a聽rockumentary聽about the Mexican band聽Molotov聽that is also critical of Mexican politics.[6]聽His latest film, released in 2014 just prior to the聽2014 FIFA World Cup,[5]聽is聽Ilusi贸n Nacional, a documentary about聽football in Mexico.
